About Me
Hello!
I’m Julie, and I'm a teacher, a writer, and a lover of all things creative. I am passionate about using these gifts to connect with God, and to help connect God with others.
I’m so glad you found me!
Teacher
I consider myself a student-teacher, which means I will always be learning and always be running at the mouth about what I have learned. I’ve shared these life lessons in the high schools of Los Angeles, along village trails of Kenya and Uganda, in local women’s ministries across the country, and at conferences right here in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Still, my favorite classroom of all has been the dining room table where I taught my own four children. If I can be of service to your organization, please let me know. It would be my honor to help.
Writer
My story involves unplanned pregnancy and how grace brought me back from the brink. My priority these days is writing that story down and tracking my progress through the blog. I do all of this in service to the One, in hopes of helping at least one. I invite you to follow along.

Creative
Creative collaboration is exciting to me. Since 1999, I’ve been learning that the best creative partnership we can have is with the One who gave us our creativity. For me, this has encompassed dance, art, writing, and public speaking.
To help others experience this partnership for themselves, I offer Cultivate workshops in either painting or creative writing. In Cultivate we clear distractions, let go of perfectionism, exercise our creativity, and enjoy the Spirit’s presence within ourselves and others.
